Peanut Butter Jelly Time.

Windsor had his first peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch today. De-lish!

Cool Rider.

Yesterday afternoon Windsor's dad put together the cool car Auntie Cheryle gave Windsor for his birthday. It is seriously cool!





We cruised around the block. Windsor was careful to use his turn signal each time it was needed, plus some other times too. There is also a radio that plays approximately 10 seconds of one easy listening, one pop, and one fake hip hop song!

Beach Baby.

This week, Windsor went to the beach. (Ok, so we all went to the beach.) Windsor had a great time, although he was not a huge fan of the actual water or actual beach. But it was fun to try new things, like eating sand, wearing a Gilligan hat, and playing with a pinwheel. More to come!

Sunday Night Report.

Windsor's Auntie Heidi gave him these two cool books for his birthday -- Cat and Dog -- and Windsor is soooo into them he can't even stop reading them long enough to run around the house. So he found a way to do both:



Pointing at kitties is fun, as is mashing that red button OVER AND OVER AND OVER. It squeaks!



In other news, someone new has moved into the Pack & Play.

Hey Windsor! Whatcha Been Up To?

Well, I've been pulling up on Lulu. Note the grip I've got on her!



I've also been falling when she decides she's had enough and walks away.



I've been banging on the glass of this barrister bookcase, which is a strict no-no but I just CAN'T RESIST.



I've been walking really fast with my cool walker toy, which means lots of Mom's pictures look like this:



And building things with my tools on my toolbench. That drill makes a great noise!



I've been playing peekaboo:



And I've been moving Mom's stuff around. Here you see me moving a file box full of high school diaries. Very important work!



That's about all I've been up to, besides taking a step here and there. Of course, there's no photo evidence of that yet -- I'm waaaaay too quick.

Sorry for No Posts!

Last week was pretty crazy and I neglected to even take any pictures of my boy. Here's a photo of the obligatory cake-eating moment from his birthday party two Saturdays ago. Windsor kind of thought cake was weird.



But it could've been the pressure -- he had so many people watching!

Yesterday when I picked him up from daycare he had big news: he took a couple of steps! He has been in the Creepers' room for a few days and it's obviously paying off. I was worried that the big kids (note: they are, at the oldest, 18 months old) were going to beat him up and steal his lunch money, but the teacher's report yesterday was that he is getting along great with his new classmates.

In other news, Windsor is not usually this pouty and sullen, but he's awfully cute when he is.
