Busy Baby.

Windsor has been so busy with school and all his extra-curricular activities (he's juggling soccer, symphony, and debate club) that he hasn't posted lately. Sorry, y'all. Here are a few pictures.

I adore this outfit, mainly because Windsor looks like he's wearing an old-timey bathing suit. In this picture he looks a little startled. Lulu probably just barked or something.

Nothing's cuter than feet during tummy time:

This isn't Windsor's best photo, but wow is this outfit cute:

Maybe after karate Thursday night Windsor can post again.

Looks Like We Made It.

We all survived Windsor's first day of nursery school! (Don't you think "nursery school" sounds way better than "daycare"?) It was a little rough on me, but Win seemed to have a ball. He was at least comfortable enough to poop twice while he was there today.

Here he is this morning as I was getting him ready. Click on the picture to make it bigger, then look closely at his eyes. What color are those suckers going to be?

Roadtrip Report.

This weekend Windsor went on his first roadtrip -- an event I was very worried about. I firmly believe that if I hadn't worried and made lists and fretted and packed (and repacked) that it would've been horrible. Instead, Win was a dream the whole time! He slept the whole way to Memphis, cooed and squealed for his grandparents, received visitors like the little prince he is on Saturday, and slept the whole way back home on Sunday.

Yesterday afternoon he spent some time on his quilt (thanks, Cindy) talking to his best friend the air vent. This child is seriously in love with vents!

His second best friend Lulu is also beginning to interest him somewhat. I enjoy that Lulu is respectful of Windsor's boundaries here.

Big Boy.

Get this: two nights ago, Windsor slept for seven hours straight! I think it was a fluke, but what a tasty fluke it was.

Speaking of tasty, check out Mr. Propped Up On the Couch Like a Big Boy and his tasty leg rolls:

It has also come to my attention that Windsor is a big boy...a really big boy. I knew he was big, but I haven't seen any other babies lately for comparison. We visited with Abby, a healthy baby girl 4 weeks younger than Windsor on Monday and he looked like he could eat her. Then last night we ran into a mother and son out for a walk in the neighborhood and she said, oh, it looks like our boys are about the same age! Um, no...her son was born in December. They were exactly the same size!

Brief Update.

I just wanted to say that we all went to bed at 10:15 and did not wake up until 4:15. This is the longest I have slept since the 3rd grade. At least it feels that way.

Go Windsor!

He Wants to Rock and Roll All Night.

We've been busy this past week, what with our near-daily visits to Target and our walks around the block and our naps. His naps during the day are sketchy, but at least he's pretty much established a sleep pattern of 10-3 and then 3:30-6 each night. Of course, the minute I type this, he's going to revolt and tonight he will want to stay up all night and party.

However, who wouldn't want to stay up all night with this guy?
