Last night as we were getting dinner ready I propped up Windsor's bottle in his bassinet on a wad of blankets. When I looked over at him a minute later, I saw this:
It might've been a fluke, but until I know for sure I'm calling GENIUS on this one.
That is so, so awesome. When we brought Emily for her one-year checkup, and Dr. Tony was talking to us about switching from a bottle to a sippy cup, I mentioned that that would be tricky as Emily STILL wasn't holding her bottle. Dr. Tony diagnosed her as LAZY. How much more freedom would I have had if, at any point in that first year, she had freed my hands during feeding time? A LOT.
wow! Gabe is lazy too since he is 11 months old and just started to hold his bottle. of course, he won't hold the milk bottle, just the one with juice. He also won't eat in his high chair only off of my plate (not his dad's or sister's--mine). I am resigned to the fact I will never have a drink or plate of food for myself for the next 18 years.
