Bathtime.

Windsor just had his second bath -- an unplanned bath that was necessary due to, uh, the state of his last diaper -- and it is possible that his mother might not have brought the appropriate number of towels into the kitchen with them, so when it came time to be dried off, all the Windsory towels were sopping wet, and so she wrapped him in a couple of kitchen towels. Really cute kitchen towels! My best kitchen towels. Still...the child was wrapped in kitchen towels. Oh, the shame.

Here's Winnie right after he survived his first bath, the one where we were more prepared.

Dear Windsor,
You are so cute. Your hair looks flat as a fresh valley just like mine did when I was a baby. you look like your smart. I can not wait to meet you and baby sit you. I would like to say a million oohs and ahhs.
Love your friend,
Lily

Tom, Lizzie and Henry are very anxious to meet the new and very handsome Windsor. Maybe he can crawl on the floor with them before too long!

I can already see it's going to be next-to-impossible to leave a comment other than "Gaaah! The cuteness!" for all these posts.

But seriously: the cuteness!

Oh my lord, is there anything cuter than a baby in a hooded bath towel? Love this picture so much. I cannot wait to meet him and nibble on his serious little face.

We had an unplanned 2 a.m. bath during the first few days too. Don't feel about the kitchen towels, these things happen.
