Cookie Mouse and Coconuts.

Here are some of the funny things Windsor has said lately:

For months, he's referred to Mickey Mouse as Cookie Mouse, and we never corrected him because that is clearly adorable. But he's finally figured it out, and now we are sad.

However, he IS still under the impression that polka dots are "coconuts," and if anyone corrects him, you're in big trouble.

He refers to himself as a "yellow guy." I'm not sure what this means, but it's ok with me. "Hey buddy!" "I'm not a buddy, I'm a yellow guy." Uh, whatever.

Things he doesn't like are spicy. Food, textures, smells, whatever. My favorite is "Daddy's whiskers are spicy."

He's started to make up jokes. They're not super-sophisticated or anything, but he's getting there. Here is a sample:

Windsor: Knock knock.
Mommy: Who's there?
Windsor: Dirty poop.
Mommy: Dirty poop who?
Windsor: No, you're supposed to say, "YUCK!"
Mommy: Oh. Ok, YUCK.
Windsor: (cracks up)

Last night when he should've been asleep, he was hollering for me to come in his room. When I did, he told me sincerely, "I'm not going to lick you anymore, Mommy. We lick ourself, not the other people."

A few weeks ago Windsor was pissed and hit me in the leg. As he was being dragged into time out, he said, "Oh, Mommy! I didn't hit you! I was giving your leg a high five!"

He told me a bedtime story the other night about a little boy named Mommy. Mommy lived in a hole in the ceiling.

Instead of regular kisses, Windsor prefers to give "funny kisses," aka raspberries, aka zerberts.

Another Photo Catchup!

Windsor has been very busy the past few months.

He went out for sushi. (He's much better with the chopsticks than I am.)

He went to the zoo.

He went to the circus, where we spent his college fund on this dumb hat and elephant cup.

But then at home, Windsor and Mommy posed with their respective circus cups, so that was fun.

He went to a one thousand degree birthday party...

...and sweated a LOT.

And then he stayed home and played with this inflatable bed, but please don't make the mistake of referring to it as a bed, because it is CLEARLY a boat.
