Windsor's Food Diary.

Today was a big food day for Windsor. First, he had a normal, uneventful breakfast, and then some tasty vegetable tempura at the sushi place at lunch. But after his nap he threw some peanut butter sandwich on the floor.


Then licked his hands pitifully. Woe is me, mother, I am hungry, et cetera.


He dragged around a bag of fruit.


Then tried eating a plum.


It wasn't ripe, so he ate a peach instead. Full disclosure: he actually snatched this peach off of the peach display at the store and chomped into it.







Later, for dinner, he ate his first baby-sized cheeseburger!

We're Shopping for Baby Toys at Petsmart from Now On.

Lulu got a new waterbowl, but the poor thing hasn't had a chance to drink out of it yet. SOMEONE (I'm not naming any names) has taken it over.

Windsor's Diary.

Dear Diary,

Last week I got to Swiffer. This week, Mommy let me sweep! It's harder, but I like it. Mommy calls me Cinderella.


Last weekend we played in the yard.



And I finally got in my swing without screaming!



That lasted about 15 seconds. Then I screamed a LOT. Like this:



I hope this weekend is just as fun...but without the screaming.

A Pair of Toys.

Windsor got a couple of new pull toys!



But he doesn't want you to take a picture of him with them.




He'd rather chew on the laces in private.



In other news, Windsor can say "uh-oh" really well. He likes to say it after he throws his dinner on the floor.

A Couple of Milestones.

This weekend Windsor hit two important milestones: he is now able to use a spoon and a Swiffer!

Ode to the Blue Chair.

Grammy gave Windsor Uncle Todd's old blue chair, and boy has he been enjoying it. There are so many things you can do with a chair! Did you know?

Breakfast + News.

My camera battery was dead all week, but here are a few photos of this morning's breakfast.

First, though, we have big news: we are walking! Windsor's been toddling around, and on Tuesday he was still falling a lot when he walked. But on Wednesday, he could suddenly walk like a pro. It's so weird to see the back of his head as he wanders out of a room.

We're also expecting his sixth tooth any day now. He'll have four uppers and two lowers.

On to the photos. This morning we had cheese grits (one bite), yogurt + oatmeal (one bowl), and part of a banana.







I'm not sure what he was trying to communicate here, but whatever it was, he was intent:
