Happy One-Month Birthday to Windsor!
Our Windsor turned one month old yesterday, and he's doing great! He spent the first few weeks with his eyes pressed firmly shut, but lately he's decided to actually open those [brown? blue? color not yet determined] eyes and let us see how handsome he is.
His mouth hasn't had the same problem as his eyes and has been wide open and accepting donations around the clock. Winnie has been a Hungry Hungry Hippo and his thighs are beginning to prove this. Because he is a tall, thin drink of water, I am quite pleased that he's starting to chub out. I'm guessing he weighs about 10 pounds now -- he's outgrown all of his newborn clothes (and diapers).
Here's our growing boy hanging out in his bassinet yesterday afternoon.

A Trip to the Doctor.
Windsor (pictured here right after he got his hair did the other night) went to the pediatrician on Wednesday for his 2-week checkup, and the man is doing great. He's gained back the weight he lost after getting born (plus a few additional ounces), has grown an inch and a quarter, and is in the 95th percentile for height. Having all those giants lurking in the family tree is paying off!
He's also in the 100th percentile for cuteness and amount of baby hair.
P.S. We have totally chosen the right pediatrician; he used the words "doo doo" and "bootyhole" during our visit.

Windsor's Anatomy.
Because I spend a lot of time gazing upon Windsor's handsome face, I feel I am more than qualified to say who he looks like. Here's a list of where Windsor got his looks:
Hair consistency: Jeff all the way. I had no hair until I was 30 or so.
Hair color: Tracy
Eyebrows: Undetermined, as he has none
Eyes: Jeff
Nose: Jeff
Mouth: Tracy
Chin: Some unknown, pointy-chinned ancestor
Hands: Jeff
Feet: Tracy
I hope this solves the "who does the baby look like?" question. Jeff's parents were here this weekend and we all agreed that even though Windsor looks an awful lot like Jeff, Windsor is way cuter.
